The hylian Shield

This project was made for Halloween back in October of 2021, and was a very rushed project. In total I would estimate I finished work on it in 9 hours, working entirely in one day. Because of that, it is missing some details and is on my list to revisit and refurbish.

• The outside of the Shield is made entirely from cardboard, from the outer detailing to its core, and as a result is very lightweight.

• The inside is reinforced with a ribbed pattern to give it a curve while also maintaining its integrity.

• The Shield was initially painted all black to give it a base coat, then painted blue for its main color. Afterwards Metallic Gold and Aluminum and Red were added last.
