For Beautiful: The Carole King Musical I built and put up:

I built the landings that the stairs off stage connected to the upper level on the bridge, and connected the stairs to the landings.
I built part of and put up the bridge. It was constructed in 6 segments, and then bolted together after they were in place and connected the their supports.
I cut the the wood for the bridge supports and started the construction of them. They were made of 2x6 with two angled braces and one middle brace.
I cut the 3/4” plywood and Lauan for the lighting columns. They were connected together with biscuit joints and staples. The holes for the light bulbs were cut with a 1” hole saw, 1’ apart.
I constructed the base for the sliding doors. They were cut out of two sheets of MDF for each door, and the sheets were connected with a biscuit joint. There were 4 doors in total.
I built the caps of the bridge that imitated girders. They were built with 3/4” ply and lauan, stapled and glued together. The rivets were made by using furniture feet hammered onto them.
I put up the railings for the bridge and the stairs offstage. The railings on the bridge were put up with lag screws.
